RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WIS) -

Richland County Sheriff's deputies are investigating the theft of $20,000 worth of air conditioning units from a strip mall on Garners Ferry Road.

Deputies say sometime between 2:40 a.m. and 6 a.m. on June 6th, someone drove up to a strip mall in the 8000 block of Garners Ferry Road and stole air condensing units from several businesses.  Deputies say the suspect or suspects were driving a white Ford van.

Investigators say the suspects entered the property through a locked wooden gate behind Grace Hill Cleaners and Alterations. The units were stolen from three businesses in the plaza and one vacant property.

The units are valued at $20,000 and deputies estimate about $310 in damage.

If you know anything that can help investigators find the person or people responsible, call Crimestoppers at 1-888-Crime-SC.
