A South Carolina man faces federal fraud and conspiracy charges after authorities say he masterminded a three-year scheme that faked store refund transactions totaling more than $600,000 from Walmart stores in the Carolinas.More >>
AUBURN, AL (WIS) - A former Calhoun County football standout was wounded in a deadly shooting at an apartment complex at Auburn University over the weekend.
Auburn Offensive Lineman Eric Mack was among three people wounded in the shooting Saturday. He was taken to the hospital where condition is not known.
Mack is a sophomore from St. Matthews.
Three people were killed, including former Auburn football players, Edward Christian and Ladarius Phillips.
Police arrested 18-year-old Jeremy S. Thomas of Montgomery, AL on Monday. He is charged with hindering prosecution 1st degree. Investigators are also looking for two others in connection with the shooting.
Desmonte Leonard turned himself in to authorities after a three-day manhunt. Leonard, 22, is accused of killing three people at an off-campus party near Auburn University.
