COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Two years before the double-shooting at 12 Tackeria Ct., a relatively large quantity of jewelry was stolen from the home, according to a sheriff's department incident report.

Tammy Parker, then 42, reported on March 12, 2010, the theft of approximately $20,000 in jewelry from her house.

According to the incident report, deputies were dispatched to Ascot Estates around 4:10 that afternoon after Parker reported the break-in. Parker told investigators that somebody had kicked in the back door and removed a large quantity of jewelry.

Deputies reported the house appeared to be "rummaged through," and drawers were open in the Parkers' bedroom, bathroom and closet.

Mrs. Parker wasn't able to give a detailed account of just how many pieces of jewelry were stolen, but estimated the value to be about $20,000.

The report does not indicate if anyone was ever arrested in the case.
