CAYCE, SC (WIS) - A man has been arrested in the stabbing death of his estranged wife in Cayce.
45-year-old Jerald Franklin Anderson has been charged with murder.
Cayce Public Safety Lt. Jeff Simmons says Anderson is accused of stabbing 44-year-old Robyn Beth Anderson of Cayce three times during a fight at her home Monday night.
Simmons said the stabbing happened after Robyn Anderson told her husband to leave her home. The woman asked her daughter to call police when he refused.
Police said by the time they arrived, Robyn Anderson had been stabbed three times. She was taken to Lexington Medical Center where she died.
Police recovered a pocket knife thought to have been used in the stabbing.
It wasn't clear if Jerald Anderson has a lawyer.
