LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC (WIS) - Lexington County Sheriff's detectives charged two additional teenagers in connection with a November burglary.
On November 4, 2011, a home on Owens Road near Leesville was burglarized. Sheriff's deputies say the two teens arrested Wednesday and two other teens stole a shotgun, a revolver and other items from the home.
Lexington County Sheriff James R. Metts said 18-year-old Bryce Todd Addy and 17-year-old Dalton Blake Dubose, both of Buck Smith Road in Leesville, turned themselves in to sheriff's deputies Wednesday. They were both wanted on warrants for first-degree burglary.
Addy and Dubose were being held the Lexington County Detention Center awaiting bond hearings.
Sheriff Metts says South Carolina law requires a circuit judge to conduct a bond hearing for Addy and Dubose in general sessions court because first-degree burglary is a felony that carries a maximum punishment of life in prison. The 11th Judicial Circuit Solicitor's Office has not yet scheduled bond hearings for them.
Detectives previously arrested 17-year-old Theodore Wayne Masters, 17, of Gilbert, and 19-year-old Cory Blake Rosson of Leesville. Masters and Rosson are being held without bond on first degree burglary charges.
Arrest warrants say that early in the morning on November 4, 2011, Addy, Dubose, Masters and Rosson entered a home on Owens Road and stole a revolver, a shotgun, two sets of state quarters and Confederate money worth about $300.
Metts asked anyone with information about additional criminal activity involving Addy, Dubose, Masters or Rosson to call the Lexington County Sheriff's Department at (803) 785-8230 or CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
