HARTSVILLE, SC (WMBF) A Hartsville man was fatally wounded Wednesday afternoon after a shooting at a Hartsville park, and police say they have the two men responsible behind bars.

Donald Quist, spokesman for the City of Hartsville, told WMBF News officers were on scene at Pride Park located at the intersection of South Sixth Street and Marion Avenue investigating the shooting just after 4 p.m.

Quist confirms Thursday morning that officers have arrested a pair of brothers in the fatal shooting.

Josh Alexander Reed, 22, and 21-year-old Johnathan Tyrone Reed were arrested Wednesday night and are currently in custody at the Darlington County Detention Center. Quist says charges are expected to be filed Thursday afternoon.

Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee said 18-year-old Milton Tilton Campbell Hunter of Hartsville died after being rushed to Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center when he suffered a gun shot wound at Pride Park around 4 p.m. Wednesday.

An autopsy for Campbell is scheduled for Thursday in Newberry.

Two persons of interest were detained by police Wednesday evening and a vehicle spotted at the scene has been seized, Quist said.

The Darlington County Coroner's Office and the Hartsville City Police Department continue to investigate this incident.

Further details such as a possible motive have not been released at this time.
