GREENWOOD, SC (WYFF) - The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating why a Greenwood City police car ended up crashing into a home.

Troopers say it happened at 9 a.m. Monday at the intersection of North Street and Durst Avenue.Troopers said 24-year-old John Leopard was driving a 2008 Crown Victoria west on North Street when it ran off the right side of the road and crashed into the house.

They said no one was in the room where the car crashed through.

They said Leopard was not hurt.

The incident is still under investigation.
