COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - As Valentine's Day draws closer, the Department of Agriculture says everything needed to make a special dinner can be found at the State Farmers Market.
There's a Winter Farmers Market scheduled for Saturday inside the Corbett Building in West Columbia.
There's local grass-fed beef for a steak dinner, plus lettuce, celery and peppers for a Certified SC Grown salad.
Customers can sign up to win a gift basket of specialty products to be awarded on the last day of the Winter Market. The more Saturdays that people sign up, the more chances people have to win. And while at the market, customers can stop by Judy's Restaurant for a lunch made-from-scratch with local ingredients.
