DORCHESTER COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -
The Dorchester County coroner has identified the man found dead from a hit-and-run incident in the median along I-26 in early December.
Coroner Chris Nisbet says 24-year-old Adam Dwane Harned, from Reevesville, died on November 6 around 7 p.m. from skull fractures due to being struck by a motor vehicle.
Harned's body wasn't found until almost a month later by workers who were mowing the grass along the interstate. Harned was found near the 177-mile marker.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is still investigating the incident.
