COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Deputies with the Richland County Sheriff's Department have caught a suspected drug dealer following a Tuesday afternoon manhunt.
A sheriff's department spokesperson says a deputy was attempting to arrest the suspect when a fight ensued.
The spokesperson adds that family members of the suspect then came out to the fight and one attempted to stab the deputy with a screwdriver. The suspect was then able to escape during the scuffle.
Three others have been arrested. It is unclear if the deputy was injured in the incident.
