Masked man robbed Bank of America in north Charlotte, FBI says

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - The Federal Bureau of Investigations is searching for a masked man after he robbed a Bank of America branch in north Charlotte.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police officers were called to the Bank of America at 2300 North Graham Street at 11:19 a.m. Tuesday morning.

According to the FBI, the man, wearing a beige mask over this face, handed the teller two plastic bags and told her to fill them with money. CMPD officers told WBTV that he was armed with a gun. 

The man is described as a black male, 30-40 years old, 165-175 pounds with a thin build.  He was wearing a navy blue collared jacket with a light blue shirt and navy blue workpants. 

Witnesses saw the man get into a brown, older model large Buick or Oldsmobile that was missing hubcaps, according to the FBI.
