
COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - A Columbia company is working hard to get rid of a bed bug problem at off-campus housing complex for USC students.
The company is called Pest Bureau and the owner says they've been working on the pest problem at The Lofts for the past month.
Michelle Gattis has been dealing with the little critters in her apartment for several weeks.
The company treated Michelle's apartment twice with a natural ingredient and a liquid agent.
"We went into the that originally had the bed bugs," said the exterminator. "We did a treatment. We encased mattresses, box springs cracks, crevices. We do some follow-ups, which knocks bed bugs out. The lady is probably on her second treatment. The second Wednesday in February she should be bed bug-free."
