GEORGETOWN, SC (WCSC) -
A man accused of trying to kill two people is on the loose Tuesday morning in Georgetown County.
Sheriff's deputies believe 39-year-old Brian Keith Elliott of Georgetown invited the two victims into his home and shot at them before they had time to flee. Neither of the victims were injured. Deputies say the incident happened late Monday night.
The sheriff's office says Elliot asked the victim and his girlfriend to help with an injured dog. When they started walking to the home in the 200 Block of West Virginia Road the victims say they saw Elliott come running toward them.
Both the victims fled, but while leaving, Elliott fired multiple shots in their direction. Elliott was also seen chasing the victims down in their vehicle on Highway 521 before turning off the road. Elliot hasn't been seen since.
Deputies found the victims at the 521 Mini Mart in the 9000 Block of Highmarket Street around 11 p.m. Several bullet holes were found in the truck.
If you have information or no Elliott's whereabouts call the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office at (843) 546-5102.
