Meaghan Norman

It's pronounced Mee-gan.

Meaghan Norman is an award-winning journalist who serves as weekend evening anchor on WIS-TV. She is also host of the Sunday morning community affairs program ‘Awareness.' During the week, she is a general assignment reporter.  

Meaghan joined the News Ten team in October of 2011.  She's a native of New England, born and raised in Connecticut, but much of her family now lives in South Carolina.  She is a graduate of Wellesley College in Massachusetts and earned her Master's degree from Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism in Illinois. Meaghan has also studied in Washington, DC and spent a semester at Spelman College in Atlanta.

She is proud to say she's a Girl Scout Gold Award recipient and a tutor/mentor to young girls and boys in Columbia. When not at work, Meaghan is at the gym, shopping or traveling.

Meaghan gives all the glory to God for her strong family support system and all the opportunities she has to make a difference.
