
BLYTHEWOOD, SC (WIS) - Two Blythewood High School students were transported to the hospital Thursday morning after the bus they were riding in was hit from behind.
Richland School District Two spokesperson Theresa Riley said the accident happened when the bus was stopped on Langford Rd. near Claude Bundrick Rd. in the Blythewood area.
Riley said one student was complaining of head injuries and the other student had a shoulder injury. A third student that was on the bus at the time of the collision went on to school, Riley said.
The driver of the bus was not injured. It is unclear if the driver of the vehicle that hit the bus was injured.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
