State Christmas tree arrives in Columbia

Posted: Updated:

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in downtown Columbia.

Workers delivered and installed the State Christmas tree at the State House on Monday. The 30-foot tree is from a farm in Pennsylvania.

The Columbia and South Carolina garden clubs will get it all decked out and ready for the holiday season. It will take about 5 days to decorate the tree.

It'll light up for the first time during the Governors Carolighting on November 28th at 6:00 p.m.
