Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney visited the Citadel this morning.
In front of an energized crowd, Romney spoke about foreign policy and national security. He wants to make America strong again by improving the economy and strengthening our national defenses.
The former Massachusetts governor called for an "American century," with the country being the leader of the free world and must act alone to protect the nation's interests.
"This is America's moment we should embrace the challenge and not shrink from it," Romney said, "Not crawl into an isolationist shell, not wave the white flag of surrender, nor give into those who think America's time has passed, that's utter nonsense."
Romney said he would address the war in Afghanistan, job creation, and rebuilding America in his first 100 days in office.
