Lutheran Hospice is a patient and family support program that:
Keeps the patient comfortable
Teaches the family/hired staff to provide care
Offers emotional, physical and spiritual support
Lutheran Hospice offers presentations at locations that are convenient for you – skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities and independent living communities as well as senior centers, apartment complexes, offices and at conferences or seminars.
Specific presenters are determined by the topic chosen; however each presentation is given by a licensed Master of Social Work, a Registered Nurse, Bereavement Coordinator, Volunteer Manager, Hospice Chaplain or other Master level trained professional.
Presentations are offered at no charge and are individually arranged to meet your need and time constraints. Most of these presentations are 30 or 60 minute programs or in-services.
