HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – The Horry County Police Department has arrested nine people after an undercover prostitution sting Thursday.
Sgt. Robert Kegler, spokesman for the Horry County Police Department, said detectives launched an investigation at various gentleman's clubs in Horry County and an online adult escort service known as backpage.com after officers received numerous complaints of prostitution.
Kegler said nine people were then arrested and charged in connection with the incidents as well as various drug and alcohol charges.
Maquiria Daijanae Darby, 18, of Georgetown. Darby has been charged with prostitution.
Rondella Edwina Bailey, 46, of Rocksberry, MA. Bailey has been charged with prostitution.
Andrea Michelle Mickles, 26, of Douglasville, GA. Mickles has been charged with prostitution and is out of jail on bond.
Jill Anne Figueroa, 35, of North Myrtle Beach. Figueroa has been charged with prostitution and possession of schedule II pills.
Tammy Lynn Livingston, 40, of Myrtle Beach. Livingston has been charged with prostitution.
Urban S. Oshea, 42, of Myrtle Beach. Oshea has been charged with aiding and abetting prostitution and simple possession of marijuana.
Gina Margaret Laform, 46, of Myrtle Beach. Laform has been charged with prostitution, simple possession of marijuana and open container and is out of jail on bond.
Alexis Gayle Hodges, 35, of Myrtle Beach. Hodges has been charged with prostitution. Nathan Soucier, 27, of Paradise Valley, AZ. He was issued a citation for aiding and abetting prostitution and was released on scene.
According to a police spokesperson, the arrests happened at two different clubs, Fantails and Crazy Horse.
Those not released on bond remain incarcerated at J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
