COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - The media are expected to hear from USC quarterback Stephen Garcia Thursday. If he talks, it'll be the first time he's addressed the media since his one week suspension for breaking team rules.
It also appears another quarterback will be attracting a lot of attention at Thursday's workout. The Big Spur website reported that USC basketball player and former high school quarterback Bruce Ellington has decided to play football for the Gamecocks, and he could be on the field for Thursday's practice.
Ellington just finished his freshman season as Carolina's leading scorer. He made the SEC's all freshman team.
Ellington was quite a quarterback for Berkeley High School. He led the Stags to a State Championship.
WIS News 10 will be at the practice and let you know if Ellington makes his debut with the football team.
