(CNN) - The International Space Station is enjoying the company of some new visitors.
Space Shuttle Discovery docked with the space station Saturday afternoon.
The shuttle is delivering more equipment to the station.
Discovery blasted off late Thursday afternoon for an 11-day mission, its last before retirement.
Before taking off on its current mission, Discovery had spent a total of 352 days in orbit.
It's circled the Earth more than 55 hundred times over 39 missions, and has carried nearly 250 crew members - more than any space vehicle in history.
In the future, NASA hopes at least two commercial space companies will come up with vehicles to take astronauts to the Space Station.
