COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - A Columbia church air conditioning unit was stripped of copper, and the Richland County Sheriff's Department is asking for the community's help in catching the person(s) responsible.

Sheriff Leon Lott said a deputy was on patrol and conducting a property check at Brown Chapel A.M.E Church on February 4th when he noticed the air condition had been stripped of copper.
