Coroner needs help finding Columbia man's family

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) – The Richland County coroner hasn't found family members of a man who died last month after being found along a Columbia road, and he's asking for your help to locate them.

Coroner Gary Watts said 67-year-old Daniel Parler was found in the 1,000 block of Fiske Street and taken to Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital where he died on January 28th.

Watts said Parler was living in a house on Fiske Street, but no one at that home knew of any family. He said it's possible that some of Parler's family could be located in the Orangeburg area.

If you have any information that could help the coroner's office contact these individuals, you're asked to call 803-576-1799.
