Wearing red to protect women's hearts

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Red will be the color Friday. It's national Wear Red Day.

The American Heart Association wants you to Go Red for women.

Heart disease is the number one killer of women. In fact, more women die of heart disease than all forms of cancer. Someone dies at the rate of one per minute.

You're asked to wear red Friday to encourage others to learn how to protect their hearts.
