Candidates meet to talk issues in 64th House District

MANNING, SC (WIS) - Three candidates running for the South Carolina House District 64 seat squared off Saturday night.

Kevin Johnson, Bernard Richburg and Dwight Stewart met at the Manning High School lecture room to talk about the issues facing Clarendon and Williamsburg counties.

Alvin Greene is the fourth Democratic candidate running for the seat left vacant after the passing of Representative Cathy Harvin. He wasn't at Saturday's debate. Neither were the two Republican candidates, Derry Beard and Walter "Sonny" Sanders. Both had prior commitments with their families.

The primary will be held on February 15th with the special election following on April 5th.
