HOPKINS, SC (WIS) - Folks taking part in the Snowman Road Race Saturday morning sure appreciated the sun. But it was still really cold outside.
It's the 30th year for the 8-K Road Race in Richland County, and appropriately enough, there was still some snow and ice on the ground.
Organizers said it's a great way to get people out and celebrate snowmen, which you don't see all too often in South Carolina.
It's one of the oldest races in the area and typically has about 200 people who participate every year.
