COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - A Richland County school resource officer has been reinstated after domestic violence charges were dropped against him last month, according to the sheriff.
Court records show the charges against Antonio Sessions, 25, were dropped on December 17. A spokesperson for Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said Sessions has gotten his job back.
Sessions had been accused of pushing his wife to the floor and choking her during an argument in May. Lexington County deputies arrested Sessions after his wife called 911 from a neighbor's apartment and reported the fight.
Sessions became a Richland County school resource officer in June 2009, but has been suspended without pay since the day of the incident.
