Boil advisory repealed for Columbia residents

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - The City of Columbia Water Works is repealing a boil advisory after an eight-inch water main break Saturday.

It affected residents in the 4300 block of Fort Jackson Blvd. and the 4400 to 4700 blocks of Devine Street and Garners Ferry Road, which goes from Beltline Blvd. to Wildcat Road/Rosewood Drive.

Before you use the water, workers are asking that you flush you pipes before using it to drink or to cook.
