CAYCE, SC (WIS) - Cayce's mayor is announcing the appointment of a new city manager, who she says is no stranger to the Midlands.

Rebecca Rhodes was chosen out of more than 20 other candidates.

Mayor Elise Partin speaks highly of Rhodes' experience. Her most recent position was city administrator in Manning. She's also held a number of jobs across South Carolina as a planner for several cities, and she graduated from the University of South Carolina back in 1999.
