CNN: Haley "fastest rising" political figure searched for on Google in 2010.

WASHINGTON (WIS)- According to CNN, South Carolina's own Governor-elect Nikki Haley was the"fastest rising" political figure searched for on Google in 2010.

In other words, among all the political fresh faces and new names that were Googled in the United States in 2010, "Nikki Haley" was the search term that spiked the most from last year to this year.

Haley's online fame comes as a result of an election season marked with racial slurs by a member of her own legislative delegation, rumors of extra marital affairs and questions about her own religion.   Haley was raised in the Sikh tradition, but now is a member of a United Methodist Church in Lexington South Carolina.
