CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Three more families have filed a lawsuit over what the city of Cleveland did in the case of suspected serial killer Anthony Sowell.

This new Sowell suit attacks city police for how they dealt with him before cops found the bodies of eleven women.

And this suit also attacks the county, saying it didn't do enough to monitor him since he's a sex offender.

On Wednesday, Dec. 8, five other families filed a different suit and some families are suing Sowell himself.

So well could be get the death penalty in criminal court for his crimes.
