Deputies: Woman stole from church, other businesses

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WIS) - Richland County deputies are looking for a woman who broke into at least four businesses in the Irmo area.

Sheriff Leon Lott said the unknown woman stole cash from both the Botanical Nursery and Native Plants Landscaping on Dutch Fork Road on November 30.

Just a few days later, on December 3, the same woman, according to Lott, attempted to burglarize the Get and Go corner store on Wessinger Road. During that burglary, she left a bicycle behind.

Then, just hours later, the suspect stole cash from the Lake Murray Presbyterian Church on Dutch Fork Road, according to Lott. The suspect was captured on church's video surveillance camera.

In each of the four burglaries, the suspect either removed the window or pried open the window causing structural damage.

She is described as a white female, approximately 35-years-old with a slender build and possibly brownish blonde hair She stands about 5 feet 5 inches tall, according to Lott. She was last seen wearing a black jacket with a hood and blue jeans.
