Columbia police need help identifying hotel burglary suspect

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - The Columbia Police Department is asking for the community's help in identifying a burglary suspect.

Interim Chief Randy Scott says a suspect stole two televisions between November 10 and 11 at the Sleep Inn off Garners Ferry Road.

After reviewing surveillance video, he says the suspect is described at a black male, between 25 and 35 years old, six feet, and 210 pounds. Chief Scott says the man does have a goatee and long dreadlocks. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans, and a dark jacket.

Chief Scott asks that anyone with information on the identity of this suspect or information on this crime contact Crimestoppers.
