COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - This is not a typical post-Clemson week for the Gamecock football team. For the first time ever, they are preparing for the SEC title game.

The team will practice in Columbia from Monday until Thursday. Head coach Steve Spurrier will hold his weekly news conference on Tuesday to preview the game.

The team leaves for Atlanta on Friday, and they will practice in the Georgia dome Friday afternoon. Kickoff is set for 4:00pm Saturday.

It will be a rematch for the Gamecocks in Atlanta as they take on Auburn. The Tigers beat South Carolina in September by a touchdown.

USC actually had the lead in that game 20-7 at one point, but Auburn has a knack for coming back and winning football games. They did it again this past Friday against Alabama in the Iron Bowl.

Spurrier says his team will not be comfortable, even if they have the lead on Saturday.

Auburn is unbeaten this year, and took over the number one spot in the BCS on Sunday. The team practiced Sunday afternoon following that huge comeback on Friday.

The players expect to have a challenge from Spurrier's offense.
