COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Crimestoppers needs your help finding a bold bandit who held up a bank outside a busy shopping center in Richland County.

The whole robbery was caught on security tape at the Safe Federal Credit Union at the Village at Sandhills. The video shows a man covered from head to toe, wearing a camouflage hoodie and a plastic bag around his hand that suggested a gun was inside.

"That's the situation we're in, so we desperately need the help of the public," said Kevin Isenhoward.

Isenhoward is investigating the robbery, and grew up in the Sandhills area were the robbery happened. "It's concerning to me as it should be anyone in the community places that they go to feel safe in, and when someone victimizes a bank or people in those areas it should be concerning to us all."
Isenhoward says the man took off with the cash in this white Pontiac Sunfire with dark tinted windows. Witnesses say the car has a loud muffler.

Since the robber's image is hard to identify, Isenhoward needs your help. Any information you have could help investigators grab the guy.

No matter how small the tip is, call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
