Drive-by shooting injures 5 in Hopkins

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - An afternoon fight led to a drive-by shooting in Hopkins.

The shooting happened late Wednesday afternoon in the Quail Hills subdivision on Gusty Lane, near Leesburg Road.

The Richland County Sheriff's Department arrested 18- year old Lurenza D. Jones.  He has been charged with five counts of attempted murder.

All five victims were shot in the lower body.  They were transported to the hospital, where they were treated for non life-threatening injuries.
