MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A mother of two who claimed she was once dying has been extradited back to the Grand Strand after being arrested on fraud charges in Indiana.

Courtney Young, 35, was arrested in October after she used her grandmother's credit cards without permission, according to the Horry County Sheriff's Office. Now, officials say she's facing more than $10,000 in fraud charges.

Young appeared before a judge at a Friday morning bond hearing and was issued a $50,000 bond. Officials said Young faces five credit card fraud charges, in addition to a charge stemming from a bad check.

The 35-year-old once told WMBF News she only had 28 days to live, in an attempt to rally the community to make sure her two sons were taken care of financially.

Friends of Young immediately created Facebook and MySpace pages to solicit donations for a trust fund for her two young boys.
