Woman charged with killing husband, then trying to kill herself back in Lexington Co.

LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC (WIS) - A woman deputies say shot and killed her husband before turning the gun on herself is back in Lexington County.

Deputies say Shellie Davis shot and killed her estranged husband, Jermaine Davis, last month at Davis' Quail Hollow apartment in West Columbia.

Investigators say after killing her estranged husband, Shellie Davis drove to a friend's home near Charlotte and shot herself.

She was released from the hospital on Friday and taken to the Lexington County Detention Center where she's being held on murder charges.
