Midlands school put on "modified lockdown" after fight

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - A fight at Lower Richland High School forced officials to put the school on lockdown late Friday morning, according to a Richland School District One spokesperson.

A juvenile and an adult have been arrested and charged 'affray and breach of peace.' Both are students.

Spokesperson Karen York wasn't sure how many students were involved in the fight.  The school was placed on lockdown in order to restore peace, according to York.

No weapons were found.

The Richland County Sheriff's Department is investigating the incident.
