COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - A new design commemorating the Gamecock baseball team's national championship will be available Thursday in stores, but you can get them earlier.

When it became apparent the Gamecocks could win the College World Series, Eat More Tees owner Kevin Shumacher started working.  His company designed two T-shirts to celebrate the Cock's baseball championship.

Those two designs flew off the shelves faster than Shumacher could imagine. "I had to put my foot in my mouth. I predicted we'd print 8,000 shirts. We printed 8,000 by Friday morning," said Shumacher.

About 4,000 T-shirts are on back order as retailers scramble to meet customer demand.  "We have stores calling us saying 'customers are yelling at me, I need this shirt' and we tell them we're doing the best we can, you're doing the best you can. That's what we do," said Shumacher.

Shumacher has created a new style that will go on sale this week. It commemorates the day the Gamecock flag flew atop the State House dome.

It was a friend's idea.  "He mentioned he came by on the day the flag was up and said 'I've got pictures. We talked about it, found a picture, a beautiful one and we put it on a shirt," said Shumacher.

Shumacher says his business has never seen a week like the week the Gamecocks brought home the trophy.  He's hoping the next week will bring more of the same.

The new design will go on sale Thursday at several local stores including, SC Place, Jewelry Warehouse and Clothing World.

If you want to beat the crowd, you can stop by Eat Mores Tees on Rosewood Drive.  They'll print one up for you while you wait.
