CHARLESTON, SC (AP) - A South Carolina man arrested in California has been returned to face charges of killing his nephew earlier this year.
The Post and Courier of Charleston reported that 30-year-old Donsurvi Chisholm of Goose Creek was taken to the Berkeley County jail Wednesday afternoon.
Sheriff's Capt. Rick Ollic says Chisholm is awaiting a bond hearing. It was unclear if he had an attorney.
U.S. Marshals arrested Chisholm in Los Angeles on April 14, two weeks after Michael Chisholm was killed and his father was wounded.
Authorities say Donsurvi Chisholm was out of jail on bail while awaiting trial in a 2007 shooting death of a man in Dorchester County. Authorities say the electronic bracelet Chisholm was supposed to be wearing either was removed, or wasn't working.
