Cayce police looking for forgery suspects

CAYCE (WIS) - The Cayce Department of Public Safety is asking the public's help in identifying the two people wanted for forgery.

Police say the people seen in these pictures presented forged checks at the Southern First Bank on Knox Abbot Dr. in February.

On 2-24-2010 at approximately 3:24p.m., a suspect (suspect #1) entered the Southern First Bank at 109 Knox Abbott Dr. and presented a forged check along with false identification to withdraw a substantial amount of money.

The suspect depicted as "suspect #2" was involved in a similar event that occurred at the same bank using the same type of forged check on 2-17-2010 at approximately 2:13p.m.

Police ask if you have any information leading to the identity of the suspects or facts that concern either incident call CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CrimeSC.

    The officer, who wasn't immediately identified, was run over by a Jeep and fatally injured, authorities say.
