COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - The following is a statement from Columbia City Council District II candidate Josh Stroman regarding his 2002 and 2003 arrests, which you can read about here:
Of course, I'm not proud of my past, but every success I've had has been in large part as a result of me highlighting this aspect of my life narrative and how it informs my sense of what is possible.
No one wants to face the dark aspects of who they use to be. I'm thankful that I'm young enough to have learned from my mistakes and when I become City Councilman, I'll be more informed and equipped to tackle the pressing issues relating to gangs, youth leadership and development and creating a neighborhood environment conducive to success. I'll be a great City Councilman. Hopefully, I'll have the opportunity to prove that.
