COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Two bodies were found in two different Richland County locations Tuesday, and deputies say both of the unrelated deaths were homicides.

The body of 19-year-old Andrade Henry of Columbia was found around 2:30pm Tuesday off Rice Creek Farm Road in Richland County. Deputies said Henry's body was found at a construction site.

According to Richland County Gary Watts, Henry died from blunt force trauma to the head.

The last time Natalie Forrest saw her son Andrade was Sunday. On Tuesday, she found out he was dead.

"I told them I didn't want to know what happened," said Forrest. "They told me this was a homicide investigation."

Later that day, authorities found the body of 57-year-old Willis Jones at his home on Nazery Circle. Watts said Jones died from a gunshot wound.

"Of course it doesn't happen much but it did and of course we are going to give each investigation the attention that it needs, just like we would do another investigation and we're going to work them with the same intensity that we'd work another crime scene," said Monique Mack with the sheriff's department

Deputies said they are investigating both murders as homicides, but said the killings are unrelated.
