(National-NBC) July 21, 2006 - Schools testing for drugs are on the rise.
Federal money for drug testing went to 373 public schools. That's up from 79 schools two years before.
President Bush has asked Congress to increase grant money for testing by 45 percent.
One reason for the increase in testing is the lowering of legal barriers to the practice.
