ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC (WIS) - One person was killed after a four car accident in Orangeburg County Thursday night.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident started on I-95 when a driver struck a bridge near the town of Santee. That car was then struck by a Land Rover driven by Sanders Cullen out of Greenwood.
The SC Highway Patrol then says a Mississippi man driving a Freightliner tried to avoid the accidents and ended up striking the driver of the car involved in the original accident.
That driver was standing outside the car when struck.
The SC Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
There were four other passengers in the Land Rover who were transported to the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.
