
LCFS photo shows the scene of the Platt Springs Road fireLEXINGTON COUNTY, SC (WIS) - Battalion Chief Billy Gardner with the Lexington County Fire Service says late Tuesday night, the Lexington County Fire Service responded to the first of two working mobile home fires.
At 10:44pm Monday, firefighters were dispatched to 114 Sheraton Lane in the Dixiana community. Firefighters arrived on scene and found a mobile home with fire damage in the living area. The home was vacant and there was no power to the structure.
At 1:06 Tuesday morning, firefighters were dispatched to 7381 Platt Springs Road in the Boiling Springs community.
Crews arrived on scene and found a mobile home heavily involved in fire that originated in the garage and quickly spread into the living area.
A property owner on scene attempted to extinguish the blaze; however, he was unable to contain the fire.
There were no injuries during either incident.
Both fires are under investigation.
