COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Richland County deputies are investigating yet another shooting at a Two Notch Road nightclub, one that left a woman injured early Saturday morning.
Sheriff's department officials said a fight started inside Club Essence sometime before 2:30am before moving outside, where multiple shots were fired.
When deputies arrived at 2:35am, they found a woman who had been shot in the lower body. Her injuries are non-life threatening, deputies said.
Deputies are still investigating the shooting. No information on possible suspects was released.
Shootings at Club Essence are nothing new. A simple search of WIStv.com archives turned up five different violent incidents at the nightclub in the last 12 months.
In July, a rally was held at the club called "Stop the Violence." This is the third shooting at the club since the rally was held.
