10-year-old starts own charity, you can help

Posted: Updated:

LUGOFF, SC (WIS) - One Midlands girl is proving you don't have to be an adult to organize your own charity.

Ten-year-old Alesha Hudson from Lugoff started Outreach Bicycles, an organization that collects bikes and raises funds to buy bicycles for needy children.

"It makes me very happy to see their smiling face," Hudson said.

If you would like to help Alesha meet her goal of 100 bikes, you can either deposit a check at any first Palmetto Savings Bank. Make your checks payable to Outreach Bicycles For Needy Children.

You can also donate a bike by either calling 438-0145 or dropping it off at Baldwin Road in Lugoff.
