COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - USC freshman tailback Jarvis Giles and offensive lineman Heath Batchelor will not be making the trip to Tuscaloosa this weekend to face second ranked Alabama according to officials at the school.
Athletics Media Relations Director Steve Fink says Giles has been suspended for an "undisclosed violation of team and university policy."
Fink also did not know if the suspension would be limited to just the Alabama game.
Meanwhile, we've learned Batchelor has left the team for unknown reasons.
In addition, Fink said that two second-teammers would miss the game because of injury in receiver Dion Lecorn and defensive end Byron McKnight.
